Awesome Venue Needs Audio Fine Tuning
I'm a BIG UM fan and never miss a show when they're in Oakland. And.... the band seems to really love playing at the Fox Theater. Can't say how much I really appreciate their annual visits. That being said .... I really wish the audio technicians at the Fox would tone down the woofers just a tad as they often are so overwhelming as to drown out the vocals and fine nuances of the artist's performance. I love a nice bass kick to really let my body we're in to something really special. And, I simply wish we could find a way to dial back the bass just enough to let the other instruments (and vocals) be fully appreciated.
I still love the band.... I still love the venue.... and you'll continue to see me at many more shows to come. Both Umphrey's McGee and the many other great musicians who bless us with their talent.
